Backstage Tours at The Riverfront

The schools participating in Playhouse in Wales, took part in some exciting backstage tours of The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre. The children from George Street Primary, Ysgol Bro Teyrnon and Clytha Primary got to have their first taste of performing on a professional stage. They were able to take part in a workshop on the stage and have a good look around the backstage areas, including the flying tower and dressing rooms.

The teachers also got to ask the technical team at The Riverfront any questions they had about their lighting and sound cues and had advice on any other technical issues they were worried about.

Everyone was very excited and eager to get back to rehearsals to perfect their show for next month’s performance. The countdown is now on!
